So I am a behavior modification teacher, which is totally fun 99.9% of the time. Today, preparing for tomorrow, was not one of the most fun days. The students that we get from all over the system can (and we always hope and try) work themselves back into their original school and back in a regular classroom. It is our goal for all students to do this.
Well, we have one who is ready to transition, and it's great, but the logistics of getting a student to and from the school farthest away from us at the beginning of the day and then the middle of the day, as well as having someone on hand to be a support for him proves to be challenging, and just not very fun. But that is my moan and groan for the day...
On happier notes, M and M both were at a "full day" of school today, and both did fantastic. I tend to worry about little M because he loves, loves, loves his mama, but when I left him he was smiling, and when I picked him up the smile was there as well.
I am also, surprisingly staying border-line SWAMPED with embroidery and sewing orders. It's great, and it has been such an incredible blessing for us financially, I am just so thankful. I am sure it will slow down at some point, but for now I will ride the wave! Lots and lots of babies and birthdays this time of year! I even got little M's birthday shirt done for Saturday. I still have lots, and LOTS to do before Saturday, but it felt good that he at least has a shirt (now to just finish the other decorations, go food shopping, make his bib, and hat.....and I am sure a thousand other things....).
So here's to tomorrow....kids are back, we are half way through the school year, let's see how fast this flies by! :)
g'night yall!
